Edinburgh Marine Academy delivers adrenaline fuelled powerboat Sea Safaris from its base in South Queensferry, and are proud to operate the newest and safest powerboats in the Firth of Forth. We have three Rigid Inflatable Boats, which are designed to travel fast and safely in the worst weather the North Sea can create. The boats are fully equipped with the highest standards of navigation, communications, and safety equipment. All personal safety equipment required for guests is provided, including lifejackets, jackets, and waterproof trousers. This is simply the best way to see the incredible sights, wildlife, islands, and enthralling history situated on and around the Firth of Forth. Trips take in the UNESCO listed Forth Rail Bridge, the brand new Queensferry Crossing, and the original Forth Road Bridge. We can also see the Blackness Castle (where parts of Outlander were filmed), Incholm Island and its ancient 13th Century Abbey, Cramond Island, and Inchmickery which was built to look like a battleship. The wildlife that lives on the Firth of Forth is hugely varied and includes Fulmars, Gannets, Puffins, and thousands of varieties of gull. We often see dolphins, sometimes see Orcas, and always see seals! For photographers and wildlife enthusiasts then this is the way to see it all up close!
