Restaurants

While cruise passengers enjoy extraordinary on board facilities, we know that some visitors like to sample local cuisine. We have listed a few restaurants here, some Michelin Star winning establishments, others because we know passengers have found them worth visiting in the past.

Edinburgh

Amber Restaurant, within The Scotch Whisky Experience at the top of Edinburgh’s Royal Mile provides sumptuous Scottish cuisine in a stylish casual-dining environment. Our chefs create delicious locally sourced dishes that have been garnering accolades for over 10 years – making us the perfect venue for you to discover Scotland’s larder. And of course, we also have a vast selection of Scotch whiskies available to match with your food if you wish or to enjoy an after dinner dram.

Leith Area

The Kitchin

Situated a short walk from the Edinburgh cruise terminal in Leith, the Kitchin restaurant was awarded a Michelin Star in 2007, and continues to win awards with modern British seasonal cuisine, using best quality ingredients from Scotland's natural larder.

If spending time in Edinburgh, you will also enjoy the Scran and Scallie gastro pub with relaxed dining.

South Queensferry Area

Inchcolm Inn

A perfect stopping point for cruise passengers to Edinburgh who disembark in South Queensferry. With home cooked food, and a large beer garden to enjoy the scenery between the historic Forth bridges, give the Inchcolm Inn before boarding your tender back to the ship.

Rosyth Area

Grill 48

Situated on East Port, in the heart of historic Dunfermline, our restaurant features a variety of traditional Scottish dishes and homemade classics.
