Kellie Castle was originally a 14th Century tower house and home to the Earls of Kellie in the 17th and 18th centuries. The castle was saved from ruin in the late 19th Century by the Lorimer family. Kellie boasts one of the oldest ornamental plaster ceilings in Scotland as well as spectacular views to Bass Rock and the Isle of May on the Firth of Forth.
